With deep sorrow we announce the demise of Shafi un Nisa begum w/o Syed Ali Zahid Shah, who passed away Saturday July 26th, 2014 in Tustin, CA. She was the beloved mother of Hafeez, Riaz and their sisters (Ismat, Tasneem, Juby and Ruby). Hafeez and Riyaz are the prominent volunteers at Babul Ilm Islamic Center in Los Angeles, CA.

O creatures of Allah! Fear Allah and anticipate your death by good actions. Purchase everlasting joy by paying transitory things - pleasures of this world. Get ready for the journey, for you are being driven, and prepare yourselves for death, since it is hovering over you. Be a people who wake up when called, and who know that this world is not their abode, and so have it changed (with the next). (Sermon 64)
If you could see that has been seen by those of you who have died, you would be puzzled and troubled. Then you would have listened and obeyed; but what they have seen is yet curtained off from you. (Sermon 20)
You have seen those who lived before you, amassed wealth, feared poverty and felt safe from its (evil) consequences, the longevity of desires and the (apparent) distance from death. How, then, death overtook them, turned them out of their homelands and took them out of their places of safety. They were borne on coffins, people were busy about them one after another, carrying them on their shoulders and supporting them with their hands. (Sermon 131)
We perform all activities related to the death of a Muslim. Activities inlcude GHUSL, KAFAN, BURIAL, TALQEEN, NAMAZ-E-WEHSHAT, FATIHA.
The purpose of this organization is to provide a non-profit volunteer service to muslim community in assisting the family of the deceased by making arrangments with established Mortuaries/Cemeteries for the burial of the deceased and performing burial rites according to the laws of Islamic Sharia more specifically Fiqh-e-Jafaria.
For those whose hopes are in the meeting with God (in the Hereafter, let them strive); for the term (appointed) by God is surely coming and He hears and knows (all things). (29:5)
Who is it that can screen you from God if it be His wish to give you punishment or to give you Mercy?" Nor will they find for themselves, besides God, any protector or helper. (33:17)
But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of God is better than any amusement or bargain! and God is the Best to provide (for all needs). (62:11)
